Acne safe makeup
To play my part as your Esthetician and Acne Specialist, I want to make sure that you are not using any products that could be triggering/contributing to your acne.
This list is subject to change due to formulations changing. I do not know how often and when they change formulas but I will try to update this annually. I have only looked up makeup brands that are popular or that have been sent to me from clients. If you do not see one of the items you use on here please message me to double check! I would love to look into it and put it on my list. If you do send me an item please send it from the direct link off the product’s website.
I will say that there could be an exception when it comes to using makeup with a pore clogging ingredient, and that is if the pore-clogging ingredient is at the bottom of the list. If the ingredient is low on the list that means only a little amount is used. If it is at the top of the list or in the middle of the list it would be a good idea to avoid using it.
DON’T FORGET TO CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATES! Formulations change all the time.
